Mawlamyine (or Moulmein) is the capital of the Mon State and was the capital of British Burma from 1827 to 1852.

It is located in the end of Thanlyin River and busy business town of lower Myanmar.

Myawlamyine is the home of the world largest reclining Buddha Image and it is the seamless city of the traditional Burmese architecture and ways of life.

The Strand Road is famous for sunset, cruising along the Thanlyin River to enjoying the lovely view of the city’s scenery and driving along the palm-lined roads visiting the war cemetery of World War II is exclusive visit of Mawlamyine.
